Finally back home

I spent the end of December, all of January and the first week in February with my grand daughters and daughter way up north in very cold Michigan.  Loved it, but happy to be home to my computer and new sewing studio. I took my Bernina with me,  but my "space" was much smaller to work in.
My two younger grand daughters and I made quilts together.  I will be making one for Sara the oldest soon.  I have been practicing my machine quilting so I can quilt them and also the batik quilt top I made for my daughter, by far the best quilt I have ever made. The most expensive too. lol

I entered Sew and Sow Farm blogs 5 days X 5 give-a-ways. You should go check it out as it ends today. There are 25 chances to win. Sure hope I am one of the lucky winners.  Jan has such a great blog and I love to read all about her quilting and also farm news.

I have been working on Savannah's sweet 16 Audrey Hepburn dress today. The lace bodice is so pretty. I can't wait to see her in it. She has a little wait though as her birthday is not until April 14th.

I will be posting pictures of my works in progress hopefully this week. I was computer-less when I was gone so I have lots to catch up on. Hard to do blog post on a i_Pod. :)

Good night to you all,

Jan
